Frameworthy Winner and Some News

Thank you everyone who took part in our "Frameworthy" Challenge over the last month. Thank goodness we use the random generator to choose the winner, as we certainly couldn't! 
  The number picked was 6 - Karita. CONGRATULATIONS. I shall contact you soon to send your stamps on to you.

On to the news, we have decided to have a small break over the Summer holidays and a bit of an update on the blog.
We shall be back in September with lots of new cards and projects using gorgeous Sweet Pea Stamps.

Recycle and Birthday - 13 April 2012

We are also changing the challenges to MONTHLY and below is the start of the first monthly challenge.

Onto the challenge for this month which will run from Friday 13 April 2012 until mid-day Thursday 10 May 2012.
As the title says this challenge is "recycle and birthday".  We have chosen the topic "recycle" as it is World Earth Day on Sunday 22 April 2012 when events are held worldwide to to increase awareness and appreciation of the Earth's natural environment.
The prize on offer is 3 Sweet Pea Stamps.

My recycled items are the blank protector for a set of blank DVDs which I have coloured with alcohol inks and the large ribbon bow that came off a box of chocolates finished long ago

 I have used fabric and lace from an old dress that was beyond repair!


Used a Meredith Dillman image and my recycled item is the distressed and inked piece of kraft paper behind the image - it's cut from a Muji bag that I am slowly cannibalising for various craft projects! 

Used recycled buttons on the card and an Elaine Cox image
